Somebody Kill That Dog

The Tories Not a Leader Web Site, features, among other things, a blog allegedly hosted by Stephane Dion's dog Kyoto. A couple of observations:

1) I think we've found the Liberal mole. A good pet never talks behind its master's back. Sell the damn thing to Mr. Pong and it can end its life as chow-mein.

2) More seriously, are they paying somebody to write this stuff?

Stéphane was very upset when he came home from the Hill today.

It’s those new Tory ads about the Liberal Senate blowing him off on term limits. He was whining like a homeless mutt. "This is unfair!"; "You don’t know what you speak about"; "Harper is a bully."

I could eat a bowl of beans and fart better lines than these! You want to absolutely kill Tory fundraising? Link to this and show their supporters where the money is going.

PS. I give this site a month before somebody inside the Tory brain trust realizes its crap and pulls it. As for the author, they're almost unfunny enough to work for CBC.

The more people that see this website, the more people will burn their CPoC Membership card.

Well, the MSM, even the Conservative ones, ARE NOT impressed.

And to think, Harper would have had to approve the ad. Tells you something doesn't it?

I would say Kyoto is the brains behind Dion. Doesn't everybody get the 'Sherman and Mr. Peabody' analogy?

woof, woof, woof-woof.

dog speak for

"OTTAWA (CP) - Liberal Leader Stephane Dion has been heckled off the stage at a labour protest rally in Ottawa.

Dion was taunted by several thousand unionized workers as he spoke on Parliament Hill, and was eventually drowned out by chanting. There were loud boos from the crowd as he left the gathering, with many people complaining about the Liberal party's stand against anti-scab legislation.

Jake Lombardo of Hamilton, Ont., accused Dion of double-speak as he taunted the Liberal leader.

Lombardo blamed the Liberals for launching policies that he says are costing Canadians jobs. "

It won't be on the CBC unless it's completely biased to the extreme left, and the facts are wrong.

Harper likes French people; it's idiots he detests. Dion meets the former criterion.

Do the dumbo trolls think their commentary is making this publicity failure any less stupid?

If the site lasts a month, it will not be taken down. If the conservatives are not embarassed by the site by now they never will be.

Which bodes well for the liberals.

Something I missed yesterday is that this website is available in both official languages, meaning that all French-speaking Canadians logging on will read all the dumb jokes about Dion being/speaking French.
Tonight Rick Mercer points out that this might not play all that well in Quebec.

"Bodes well for Liberals."

If the rest of Canada were lobotomized and therefore guaranteed to vote Liberal, I'd say sure.

Yes it is as you say, but consider the strange comments of Cherniak. He reads the ads as seriously damaging Dion while you view them, at least the most recent, as pointless and self defeating. And then we see Cheniak pulling strongly to claim Dion as a suporter of the Israeli lobby when the comments of Dion seem to me resolutely even handed as to the two sides to the Gaza clashes. I see Dion as being himself at all times and being very serious and straight as to his duties in Parliament, while his so called supporter seems to be steadily moving away from him and perhaps showing already a jaundiced attitude. With friends like that...
